An American Christmas

An American Christmas

This yearā€¦of all yearsā€¦we need to make it an ā€œAmerican Christmasā€!
So, what is an American Christmas?  One (at least this one) initially thinks of Pennsylvania and some homemade apple pie, warm pine and cinnamon scents and your favorite fattening foods by the fireplace.  Red-nosed rugrats leaving puddles and piles of boots by the door.  Candles, carolers, cocktails and cookies.  These are a few ā€œthingsā€ that come to mind, however, there should be more.

When you think of what makes your ā€œAmerican Christmasā€ as you prepare throughout the holiday season this year, think about whatā€™s Made America and you canā€™t go wrong.  Devotion, Community, Hard work, Family, Pride, Craftsmanship and both doing the right things and doing things right.  All has helped shape and make America and why there is such strong meaning behind the term MADE in AMERICA.

When one reads ā€œMade in Americaā€ ā€“ whatever the product - one expects it to exude those terms that also Made America!  It should be fashioned with the finest craftsmanship by devoted hands determined to offer their friends and family the finest of products.  It should be head and shoulders above the cheaply, mass-produced products you find on the big box store shelves.  It should be solid, strong and built to last.  It also solidifies and strengthens the local community!

Locally, we are blessed with a community that epitomizes the above and we would love to share some our favorite finds with others that enjoy such wonderful workmanship.
